Quil gives you the ability to mark meetings as Private, keeping your notes and activity visible only to you.
What Does a Private Meeting Do?
When a meeting is marked as Private:
-
Other team members cannot view the meeting or its notes
-
Auto-linking to your ATS/CRM is disabled for that meeting
-
You must manually link the meeting if you'd like to associate it with a record
How to Set a Meeting to Private
You can manually set a meeting to private on a per-meeting basis.
Just look for the privacy toggle when creating or reviewing the meeting in Quil.
How to Set All Meetings to Private by Default
If you prefer to keep all of your meetings private by default:
-
Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of Quil
-
Go to Settings
-
Toggle on “Automatically Set My Meetings to Private”
⚠️ When this is enabled, no future meetings will auto-link to your ATS or CRM. You will need to manually link records if needed.
When to Use Private Meetings
Private meetings are helpful for:
-
Internal 1:1s
-
Sensitive conversations
-
Notes you want to keep outside your team’s view
