Quil integrates with Dialpad to automatically transcribe recorded calls, generate notes, and link them to the correct candidate record in your ATS.
How to Set Up
- Log into your Quil account.
- Go to Integrations in your settings.
- Select Dialpad and connect your account. You’ll be prompted to log in to Dialpad directly.
- Once connected, all recorded Dialpad calls will automatically be processed by Quil.
How It Works
Make or receive a call in Dialpad using either the Quil web app or your calling system. Be sure to turn on call recording, since this step is required for Quil to process the conversation.
After the call ends, Quil will:
-
Transcribe the recording
-
Create structured notes
-
Push those notes into your ATS, linked to the correct candidate record (if the phone number exists)
-
Update relevant activity types and fields in your ATS
After the Call
- As soon as the call finishes, Quil begins processing.
- You’ll see the call appear in your Quil account, with notes linked to the correct record in your ATS.
- Any follow-up materials provided to Quil will generate first drafts that you can edit and send.
Tips
- Always make sure call recording is switched on. Otherwise, Quil cannot process the conversation.
- Notes will only link if the phone number is stored in your ATS.
